Jim Cummings's Bio:

Jem Cummings (formerly Jim Cummings) has made working with food and hospitality her career of choice. Currently she is studying as a full time student at Lane Community College with an interest in the Culinary Arts and Hospitality Management program. Along with this she is also employeed part time with the Center for Meeting and Learning at Lane Community College as a Bartender, Server, and Set Up Crew Member. Before this, Jem was a Dietary Aid at Fox Hollow Residential Community, and prior to that she was the Assistant Manager of the Eugene, Oregon location of Dickey's BBQ Pit. Before this, she was a Bus Person at the Palmdale, Ca. location of Outback Steakhouse. And before that, Jerm was the Host and a Lead Server in the full service dining room at The Carlisle in San Francisco California. Yes, she has had experience in supervisory roles, but Jem is looking for any available hospitality/food position. Especially ones that she has not done just yet. Why? Because she believes that there is no better classroom than on the job training. Jem moved to Eugene, Oregon in August of 2014 to be closer to her children after a brief period of time back in her hometown of Palmdale, California. Prior to his time in Palmdale, Jem spent a few years in San Francisco. It was her experience in the Bay Area that motivated her to go for a career that she found brought him the most joy in service.
